Sheldon Parsons

Sheldon is the owner of Parsons Pharmacy and a full time Pharmacist. He was born and raised in Toronto, and after graduating from The University of Alberta in 2005 he was a pharmacist owner of a Shopper’s Drug Mart in Calgary. He became a Certified Diabetes Educator in 2008, he is injection certified, and received his Additional Prescribing Authorization in 2013. He moved to Red Deer in 2011 and has built remedial relationships in the community due to his passion for providing what can only be described as the highest standard of practice. Sheldon’s passions include spending time with his son, and playing sports such as golf and curling. He grew up playing competitive hockey and is a die-hard Toronto Maple Leafs fan.

Spencer

Pharmacist at Parsons Pharmacy

Spencer is a full-time pharmacist at Parsons Pharmacy. He was born and raised in Red Deer, and he currently resides in the city. Spencer graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the University of Alberta in 2018. He also completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) from the University of Alberta in 2014. Spencer has a number of additional certifications. He is a Certified Respiratory Educator (CRE), a Certified Tobacco Educator (CTE), and he is authorized to administer injections. Outside of pharmacy, you can find Spencer on the golf course, hiking trails, or spending time with friends and family.

Cassie

Parson Pharmacy Technician

Cassie is our full time Pharmacy Technician. She was born in Medicine Hat but has resided in Red Deer for the past 22 years. She graduated from the Pharmacy Technician Program at Red Deer College in 2013 and has also completed her federal exams through the University of Alberta in 2014. Cassie has a passion for the Pharmacy industry and very much enjoys getting to know the patients and helping them with any issues they may have. Cassie’s hobbies include travelling to Las Vegas & Hawaii, snowboarding, and spending time with family and friends.
